Our client, Boston Advisory Limited is a boutique investment-banking
firm incorporated in Nigeria
as an independent non-bank financial services institution. Boston
is licensed by the Securities and Exchange Commission of Nigeria to
conduct business as an issuing House in the financial market space.
A. The Position: Managing Director/CEO (Ref: MD/01)
Location: Lagos , Nigeria
Reporting
to: The Board of Directors
The person: Candidate must have a very deep and extensive
experience in Investment Banking with good understanding of relevant regulatory
issues and ability to provide executive leadership and entrepreneurial drive to
achieve set company objectives
Job Responsibilities:
· Provide executive leadership and drive the firm
through its growth phase
· Responsible for the firm’s strategy and
operational decisions
· Implement the Board’s decisions, monitor and
report achievements and significant variances
· Identify and develop strategic partnerships
with clients and relevant regulatory authorities
· Define brand values, generate revenue growth
and expand the clientele and market base
· Formulate and implement effective policies to
drive best practices all through the company operations
· Manage and maintain a well bonded team to achieve
optimum performance
· Present a good representation of the company to
the public, key stakeholders and business partners
Required Qualifications:
· A good degree in a business field
· Masters and professional qualifications will be
added advantage
· Minimum of ten (10) years experience in
investment banking
Competencies:
· Ability to plan, execute and deliver on
projects in a timely manner
· Attention to detail, organized and through with
desire for continuous improvements
· Ability to drive ideas from concept to
completion and manage a team of exceptional individuals
· Strong entrepreneurship drive and excellent

B. The Position: Head Corporate Finance (Ref: HCF/01)
Location: Lagos , Nigeria
Reporting
to: The Managing Director/CEO
The Role: Candidate will be responsible for sourcing and
execution of clients mandates for equity and debt capital sourcing, financial
advisory, and creating a business model that will extend the frontiers of the
corporate finance team
Job Responsibilities
· Develop and oversee Corporate Finance/M&A
documentation, models and presentations including term sheets, business
valuation models, teasers, information memoranda, etc.
· Solicit and advise clients on a wide range of
investment banking transactions
· Oversee deal structuring and execution
· Develop relationships with existing and
potential clients from initial negotiations to closure
· Oversee and develop capital markets/underwriting
documentation including prospectus of issuance, information memoranda, investor
and road show presentation materials etc.
· Oversee and manage financial due diligence with
respect to M&A and other strategic investments and acquisition
transactions.
Required Qualification:
· A good degree in a business field
· Masters and professional qualifications will be
added advantage
· Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in successful
debt or equity fund raising, M&A advisory, business valuation, financial
due diligence and other areas of investment banking
Competencies:
· Comprehensive knowledge of financial markets
and investment banking business
· Ability to plan, execute and deliver on
projects in a timely manner
· Attention to detail, organized and through with
desire for continuous improvements
· Technical computer skills, advanced user and
excellent spreadsheet modelling skills
· Strong entrepreneurship drive and excellent
managerial skills
· Self-confidence, positive personality with
strong interpersonal skills, good judgement and ability to make sound decisions
· Strong team-player with excellent verbal and
written communication skills, presentation and public speaking skills
· Superior financial modelling and analysis
skills, including equity valuation
· Ability to drive ideas from concept to
completion, work both independently and in a team
· Ability to work in multifunctional environment
under strict deadlines
